In May 2024, Virginia Newton returned to the United States and founded Virginia Newton Communications, a boutique public relations and strategic communications firm representing clients across the culinary, hospitality, and lifestyle industries. Today, the firm serves ten clients on three continents and continues to expand its global reach.

Before launching her own company, Virginia spent a year in Switzerland working with Chef Andreas Caminada and the Caminada Group as Director of Communications and Strategic Partnerships. In this role, she oversaw communications for seven restaurants and three boutique hotels, collectively holding eleven Michelin stars.

From 2015 to 2023, Virginia lived in Copenhagen, where she served as Director of Media Relations & Special Eventsfor Restaurant Geranium. Over eight years, she helped shape the restaurant’s international profile as it earned its third Michelin star and was named #1 on The World’s 50 Best Restaurants list.

Earlier in her career, Virginia worked in the entertainment industry, beginning in Nashville and later in Los Angeles. She contributed to major productions at Dick Clark Productions and went on to join the TV Guide Channel as a field producer, interviewing leading figures from film, television, and sports.

Her professional journey also includes time in Munich, Germany, where she served as Finance & Contracts Managerfor an aeronautical engineering firm based at the German Space Operations Center.

Virginia earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
